Why it works
Spatial and logical thinking underpin geometry, algebra and problem solving, and children rarely practise them directly. These puzzles use no numbers at all, so a child who feels anxious about arithmetic can still enjoy being clever. Because every level has one verified solution, children can always reason their way to the answer.
