Maths Guru
For Schools & Coaching Classes — curriculum-aligned mental maths
The maths adventure game that makes primary school children want to practise — every single day.
What is Maths Guru?
Maths Guru is a web-based mental maths game for primary school children aged 5–11. Children explore 20 themed worlds — each dedicated to a core maths topic — unlocking new levels, earning rewards, and battling bosses. Every question is timed, building the speed and accuracy that directly improves classroom performance.
The game is rooted in India's rich heritage, giving children a sense of pride and wonder about numbers — perfectly suited for Indian schools and coaching centres alike.
Whether you run a primary school, an after-school coaching class, or a tuition centre, Maths Guru fits seamlessly into your programme — students can practise in class on a shared screen, during assigned homework sessions, or independently at home.
20 Maths Topics, Fully Covered
Children progress through structured worlds covering the complete primary curriculum:
Addition
Single digits to multi-step sums.
Subtraction
Bridging, differences & confidence.
Multiplication

Two bonus Revision Islands revisit earlier topics at precisely the right moment, reinforcing long-term retention.
New Challenge Modes
Alongside the core worlds, Maths Guru features a suite of challenge modes that push children to practise faster, sharper, and smarter:
Time Skip
A high-intensity sprint mode where the countdown timer accelerates with every question. Children earn precious seconds back for each correct answer, keeping the pressure alive and the adrenaline high. Time Skip trains rapid mental recall and builds the speed that separates a good student from a great one. Available across all 20 worlds — each topic at race pace.
Memory Dash
A flash-card challenge where the question appears briefly, then disappears — and students must answer from memory. Memory Dash develops working memory alongside mental maths fluency, training children to hold numbers in their head and calculate without the crutch of a visible prompt. Short rounds make it easy to play daily, with increasing difficulty across levels.
Arcade Walk — KenKen, Kakuro, Magic squares, Arrange numbers & Str8ts
Three classic logic puzzle games in one mode, each with three difficulty levels. Every puzzle generates a fresh challenge each session — developing logical reasoning, number sense, and systematic problem-solving.
KenKen — fill a grid so every row and column holds each digit exactly once, then satisfy arithmetic cage targets using +, −, × or ÷.
Kakuro — fill runs of white cells so each run sums to its clue number, with no digit repeated within a run.
Str8ts — fill compartments with consecutive numbers (a "straight") while keeping every row and column free of duplicates. Black cells with clue numbers exclude that digit from the entire row and column, adding an extra layer of deduction.
Magic squares — fill compartments with numbers such that total of rows, columns and diagonals are same. No repeat of numbers allowed.
Arrange numbers — re-arrange the numbers in grid in ascending order with minimum number of moves.
Smart Games — NEW: Circuits & Secure the Fort
A brand-new logic-puzzle collection with zero numbers on screen — Circuits (place pieces so every golden dot connects into one perfect circuit) and Secure the Fort (an Indian-fort wall puzzle: build one closed rampart so guards and chhatri towers stay inside and raiders stay out). 100 challenges each, always exactly one solution, with ranks from Sipahi to Maharaja.
Because these puzzles need no arithmetic at all, they give every student in a mixed-ability classroom — including children who freeze up on raw calculation — a mode where they can build confidence and compete on equal footing.
Number Kingdoms
A strategy mode where students conquer a hex map through maths duels, run campaigns, earn badges, and take part in school-wide wars — a great option for whole-class tournaments or inter-house competitions.
Estimation Olympics — NEW
A number-sense mode scored by closeness rather than right-or-wrong, so every student stays engaged regardless of level. Four events — Dot Storm, Number Line Drop, Jar of Joy and Quick Length — build the estimation instinct behind strong mental maths, with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded at a stadium-style ceremony.
Shop Street — NEW
A money-maths mode set in an Indian street market: students run a stall across 30 days, totalling baskets, giving change from ₹50/₹100 notes, comparing prices and calculating percentage discounts. Real-world money skills — the part of the curriculum arithmetic drills so often miss — practised through play, with stars earned each day.
Time Skip, Memory Dash and Arcade Walk generate fresh challenges every session from the same dynamic question pool, so students never see the same puzzle twice. Smart Games, Number Kingdoms, Estimation Olympics and Shop Street round out the roster with logic puzzles, hex-map strategy, closeness-scored number-sense events and hands-on money maths respectively — giving a classroom real variety beyond raw arithmetic.
Classroom Mode — Live Quizzes for the Whole Class NEW
Turn any lesson into a quiz-show. The teacher hosts a live quiz on the projector, students join in seconds from any device with a 6-letter room code — no logins, no accounts, no setup — and the class races through the same questions together while a live leaderboard climbs on the big screen. It is the fastest way to run a starter, a plenary, or a full revision session, and it turns mental-maths practice into the highlight of the lesson.
1 · Students join in seconds
You pick a topic, a year group and 5, 10 or 20 questions, then read out the giant room code. Students tap in the code and a nickname — no account required, so the whole class is playing within a minute, even on shared or borrowed devices.
2 · Everyone plays the same quiz
Every student answers an identical, curriculum-aligned question set drawn from the ten core topics — addition through to BODMAS, percentages and word problems. Multiple-choice keeps it fast; points reward both accuracy and speed, so quick thinking counts.
3 · Live leaderboard & podium
Scores update on the projector in real time, the top names racing up animated bars, and the round finishes on a celebratory top-three podium. Perfect for house competitions, end-of-topic reviews and "beat last week's score" challenges.
Because joining needs nothing more than a code, Classroom Mode works just as well in a one-tablet-per-child suite as it does with a handful of shared devices at the front — and coaching classes can run the very same live quizzes to energise a session. Choose the topic and year band to match exactly what you have been teaching, and every child in the room is practising the right maths at the right level, together.
Why Schools Choose Maths Guru
Builds Mental Maths Speed
Every question is timed. Students learn to calculate quickly and accurately — a skill that carries directly into exams and everyday life.
Intrinsic Motivation, Not Screen Addiction
Stars, XP, fire streaks and collectible items reward effort and accuracy. Progress feels earned — so confidence and curiosity grow alongside skill.
Boss Battles Prove Real Mastery
After completing each world, students face a Boss Battle: 20 rapid-fire questions requiring 80% accuracy. This demands genuine understanding, not guesswork.
Built-in Spaced Revision
Two Revision Islands revisit earlier topics at precisely the right moment, reinforcing long-term retention — not just short-term cramming.
Always Growing, Always Fresh
Questions are dynamically generated — students see different questions every time they replay a level. With Time Skip, Memory Dash, and Arcade Walk (KenKen, Kakuro, Str8ts) now available alongside all 20 worlds, the game can produce over 3 million unique questions, so no two sessions are ever the same.
Works on Any Device
Maths Guru runs smoothly on mobiles, tablets, and desktops — no app download required. Students can practise at school on a classroom computer, at home on a tablet, or on the go from a phone.
Perfect for Coaching Classes & Tuition Centres
Maths Guru isn't just for schools. Coaching centres and private tuition classes use it to sharpen students' mental speed between sessions — and to set structured, trackable homework that parents can see is actually being done.
🏫
Structured Homework
Assign specific worlds or challenge modes as homework. Students log in from any device and their progress is tracked automatically — no marking required.
⚡
Speed Drills Between Sessions
Time Skip mode turns mental maths into a daily 5-minute habit. Students arrive at each session sharper, faster, and more confident — without extra prep work for the teacher.
📊
Show Parents Real Progress
Monthly per-student reports track levels completed, accuracy, and streaks — giving coaching class owners concrete evidence of improvement to share with parents.
🎯
Targeted Topic Practice
Each of the 20 worlds maps directly to a curriculum topic. If a student struggles with fractions or times tables, you can direct them to the exact world that drills that skill.
Coaching class plans start from just 20 students — making it practical even for small, independent centres.
Simple, Transparent Pricing
One flat annual fee per student. No hidden costs, no per-feature tiers. Full access to every world, challenge mode, and feature — for schools and coaching classes.
