How to play
- Every coloured bunny must land in its matching-coloured burrow. All of them home at once wins the level.
- Tap a bunny, then tap a highlighted cell to hop it over an adjacent fox, mushroom or bunny, landing two cells beyond.
- Foxes and mushrooms never move, but you can hop over both of them.
- If you are stuck, use a hint to highlight the next bunny and hop. Using fewer hints earns more stars.
- Every meadow has exactly one way to get every bunny home.
Maths skills it builds
- Planning ahead
- Logical reasoning
- Counting by twos (two-cell hops)
- Sequencing
Why it works
Because each hop changes the board, children must think several moves ahead and set up chains of hops, a good workout for sequencing and cause-and-effect thinking. The bands grow from two bunnies with short hops up to dense meadows where you must set up a chain, so there is a natural next step for a child who is ready.
